Lanka Premier League 2024: Teams, Schedule, Dates, Time, Venues, Squads And Live Streaming Details. The fifth edition of the Lanka Premier League is scheduled from July 1st to 21st. There will be 20 league-level matches and four knockout stages. The tournament starts with a match between B Love Kandy and Dambulla Aura on July 1.
In the tournament, each of the five teams will have between 20 to 24 players, and they can have up to six international players. The team that won last time, B Love Kandy, will try hard to win again, but they’ll face tough teams like Dambulla Aura, Colombo Strikers, Galle Titans, and Jaffna Kings.

Lanka Premier League 2024 squads
The auction took place in Colombo on May 21st. There were 420 players available, including both international and Sri Lankan cricketers. Out of these, 154 were from Sri Lanka and the rest were international players. The highest bid in LPL history happened at this auction when Matheesha Pathirana was bought by the Colombo Strikers for Rs 1 crore ($120,000).
Each of the five teams had a total budget of $500,000. After the auction, the teams have the following players: B-Love Kandy – 22 players, Jaffna Kings – 24 players, Dambulla Thunders – 24 players, Colombo Strikers – 20 players, and Galle Marvels – 24 players.
