The captain of Punjab Kings won the coin toss and chose to field first. In the first Innings, Virat Kohli played a key role as RCB scored a huge total of 241 for 7 against Punjab Kings at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Kohli’s innings of 92 runs off 47 balls was remarkable, and it helped him surpass 1000 IPL runs against PBKS.
This makes him the first player to achieve this against three different teams in IPL history, having previously done so against DC and CSK.
