ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025: Format, Teams, Schedule, Venues, Results, Streaming Details. ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will be the 13th season of the tournament, taking place from 30 September to 2 November 2025, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Eight teams will compete in a round-robin structure, leading into semis, with a final. All eyes will be on the defending champions, Australia, and the new rising talents.

Tournament Structure and Teams

Format: All eight teams will round-robin against each other (each plays 7 matches). The top four teams will move on to the semi-finals. The winner of the semi-finals will go to the final.

Qualification: 6 teams qualified directly through the ICC Women’s Championship; the other 2 qualified through the Women’s World Cup Qualifier.

Knockout Venues: One semi-final is in Guwahati (which could also have a semi-final) or Colombo, and the other semi-final is in Navi Mumbai. The final is in Bengaluru or Colombo (if they qualify).
