Bangladesh is coming off a disappointing loss to Pakistan in their first Super Four encounter. In contrast, Sri Lanka will play their first Super Four match. Lanka’s most recent encounter was against Afghanistan, and they won that close match by only two runs. There was a period in the game when everyone thought Afghanistan would win the match and qualify. However, Sri Lanka won the match and qualified as the table-topper from Group B.
