Let’s take a closer look at the match and check the updated Points Table, as well as the leading run-scorers and wicket-takers after the first Super 4s match between Pakistan and Bangladesh on September 6.

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first. Once again, Shaheen and Harris Rauf proved to be formidable challenges for the Bangladeshi batsmen. The Bengal Tigers suffered an early setback, losing their first four wickets with only 50 runs on the scoreboard. However, Shakib and Mushfiqur, two of Bangladesh’s most seasoned players, each scored half-centuries and together contributed 193 runs to the team’s total. Harris Rauf emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the match, securing four wickets.

Pakistan chose to bat and got off to a strong start, but Fakar Zaman was dismissed after scoring 35 runs. Pakistan’s captain, the world’s number one batsman, came in to bat but couldn’t stay at the crease for long, as he was dismissed after adding 17 runs to the total. However, Rizwan and opener Imam steadied the innings and contributed valuable runs, guiding their team to a close victory. Unfortunately, Imam couldn’t finish the match as he was also dismissed. However, a brief cameo from Salman Agah helped Pakistan secure a 7-wicket win, achieved in just 39 overs.

Bangladesh faced a setback, but they are determined to bounce back when they take on Sri Lanka on September 9th. Meanwhile, Pakistan will clash with their archrival India on September 10, with both matches scheduled to be held in Hambantota. Here’s the updated points table following the match
