Following Rohit Sharma, and in 2nd place, is Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran at 764, and jumping back to the top ranks is India’s Shubman Gill in 3rd place at 745. Former No. 1-ranked batter Babar Azam has slipped to 4th place at 739.
India put in another strong showing with Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer as the 6th and 9th-ranked batters, respectively, who highlight the depth India possesses in their batting. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell (734) and Sri Lankan Charith Asalanka (716) are also included in the rankings.
