India Women vs England Women One-Off Test Details

England suffered one of their most significant Test defeats as India dismissed them for 131 in the second innings, clinching victory with a day and a half to spare. India’s winning margin of 347 runs sets a record for the largest victory by runs in a women’s Test, prompting questions about England’s trajectory under Jon Lewis, especially following their disappointing T20 series loss to Sri Lanka in September.

Deepti Sharma added four more wickets to her tally, concluding with outstanding figures of nine for 39 the best by an Indian spinner in women’s Test cricket. Additionally, Pooja Vastrakar took three wickets for 23 runs, including bowling out Nat Sciver-Brunt without scoring, a crucial dismissal.
