IND vs ENG: India Likely to Make Key Changes for 2nd Test at Edgbaston. Team India prepares for the second Test vs England, scheduled to begin on July 2. Fans can see some changes to the playing XI after a loss in the first Test. The management team will look to manage Jasprit Bumrah’s workload. In that case, Arshdeep Singh will make his Test debut.

Arshdeep Singh can offer a new dimension based on his different angles off the wicket with his left-arm pace. He will have to use the swing and bowl the long spells available in these English conditions to earn his final selection. Based on the first Test, it looks like Mohammad Siraj will lead the pace attack but will have Arshdeep and Prasidh Krishna as seam-bowling options.

In terms of the spin bowling department, the replacement for all-rounder Shardul Thakur is expected to be Kuldeep Yadav. The Edgbaston pitch is known to offer assistance later in the match for spin. Kuldeep’s wrist-spin could be a significant factor. Ravindra Jadeja will continue to add balance to the team with his batting and bowling abilities.

In the batting lineup, it is expected that Karun Nair may get dropped as the team looks again to a more balanced selection. Gill, Yashasvi, Rahul, Sai, and Rishabh Pant are likely to stay after competent scores in the first Test.
