IND vs ENG 3rd Test, Day 3 Highlights: India Match England’s Total On Day 3 At Lord’s. Day 3 of the third Test between India and England at Lord’s was a highly contested battle, with India fighting back to equal England’s first innings score of 387 as the match headed into the final day.

India began the day on 145/3 with KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant at the crease. The two put together a significant 141-run 4th wicket partnership. Rahul scored an accomplished 100, and Pant was at his attacking best with a quickfire 74 off 84 balls. Unfortunately, just before lunch, Pant was run out by Ben Stokes’ sharp piece of fielding, which halted India’s momentum.

After lunch, Ravindra Jadeja (74) and Nitish Reddy also played mature innings, navigating India’s innings steadily. With Jadeja’s calmness and Reddy’s confidence, they both took India closer to England’s first innings score; Woakes dismissed Bumrah for a duck, and Jofra Archer dismissed Washington Sundar near the end of the day’s play.

Earlier, Joe Root was the anchor of England’s innings and played a beautiful century, which made him the leading run-scorer at Lord’s and the first to score 3,000 Test runs against India.
