FIFA World Cup 2022: Points Table And Team Standings. After a long wait, the FIFA World Cup 2022 finally kicked off in the Gulf nation Qatar in November 2022. As we all know by now, 32 teams are participating in the FIFA World Cup 2022 this year, and they have been divided into 8 groups of four teams each (from A to H). The group members will play each other in a round-robin format, and the top three teams from each group will qualify for the next round. 

While all the groups are very challenging this year, Group E is being referred to as the “Group of Death.” It comprises three very good teams: Germany, Spain, and Japan, along with Costa Rica. This group’s outcome was shocking when Japan beat Germany. The next matches of this group are extremely difficult to predict.
