Next is India test skipper Shubman Gill, with 430 runs and a double century in the first innings, plus a century in the second innings. He also became the second batsman to score 150+ in both innings of test cricket. Gill created a lasting impression on many former players.

In third place is Mark Taylor of Australia, scoring 426 runs against Pakistan in October 1998. He amassed an amazing 334*and was followed by a very strong second innings to put himself into this category.
