IPL 2024: 5 ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 Players Expected To Debut In The Tournament. IPL teams will start their preparation for the 17th season just after the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. Many players are performing exceptionally well in the ongoing biggest cricket carnival ODI WC. In the cricket World Cup, they represent their country, but for a huge amount, players move to the world’s richest cricket league Indian Premier League (IPL).

3. Bas de Leede (Netherlands)

Bas de Leede is a 23-year-old Netherland all-rounder is one of the best young talent in world cricket. Leede is a powerful middle-order batsman and a right-arm medium pacer who can swing the ball both ways. Bas played a key role in the Netherlands’ qualification for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, and he could be seen playing in IPL 2024.

4. Dunith Wellalage (Sri Lanka)

Young Sri Lankan sensation Dunith Wellalage is one of the most promising players in the country. He exhibits a right-handed batting technique and excels as a right-arm off-spin bowler. In 18 ODI matches, Wellalage has scored 678 runs with an average of 32.79 for Sri Lanka. Wellalage could be a valuable addition to any IPL team.

5. Ibrahim Zadran (Afghanistan)

21-year-old Afghan middle-order batsman Ibrahim Zadran is known for his big-hitting ability. Zadran made his ODI World Cup debut for Afghanistan in 2023. In 23 ODIs he has scored 997 runs with an average of 47.5. IPL teams can invest a huge amount in this young Afghan player.
