Asia Cup 2023: Super 4 Teams, Updated Points Table, Top Runs Scorer & Wicket Taker: The first leg of the current Asia Cup 2023 league phase is nearing completion, with only one encounter remaining between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka in Group B. Fans are eagerly awaiting the teams that will advance to the Super 4. India and Pakistan advanced from Group A, while Bangladesh advanced from Group B. The last team in Group B will be determined following the conclusion of the group’s final match.

Group A had quite distinct standings. After beating Nepal and tying with India, Pakistan qualified first. India, on the other hand, has won its last match against Nepal with 10 wickets since the first match was rained out; hence, India qualified with three points. Nepal fought valiantly despite the fact that they were competing in their maiden tournament against the mighty India and Pakistan.

Group B had a shaky status after Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh in the opening match. Then, with its net run rate in mind, Bangladesh completely outplayed Afghanistan in the second match of Group D. It is already apparent that Bangladesh will qualify, and the second participant will be the winner of the last match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

We saw a lot of terrific matches in the league round, except for one that was rained out. Let’s see who displayed the most crazy cricket abilities in the league round of the Asia Cup 2023.

Venue For Super-4 Will Change

The Super Four stage in Colombo can be shifted due to heavy rain. The Super 4 of the Asia Cup 2023 was supposed to take place in Colombo; however, the site has already been canceled due to excessive rainfall. According to early sources, Sri Lanka Cricket is considering three venues: Pallekele, Dambulla, and Hambantota.

However, according to the most recent Dainik Jagran reports, Hambantota has been selected for the Super 4 round. The weather in Hambantota is expected to be the best in Sri Lanka right now. Dambulla has just hosted the LPL and cannot be prepared for such large tournament matches on such short notice, according to SLC, while Pellekele has already had a match canceled.

Although nothing has been finalized, the ACC is currently in talks with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and event host the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding a possible location change.
