In the US Open Tennis 2021, the women’s singles final will be played between 18-year-old Emma Raducanu of England and 19-year-old Leylah Fernandez of Canada. Raducanu and Fernandez are both unseeded and have reached the final of a Grand Slam for the first time.
Earlier in the history of US Open tennis, the final match between so many young players was in 1999 between 17-year-old Serena Williams and 18-year-old Martina Hingis. In this, Serena won the US Open tennis for the first time by defeating Hingis.
