IPL 2026: SRH Crush KKR by 65 Runs In High-Scoring Clash. Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 65 runs in IPL 2026. The match was played at Eden Gardens and turned into a high-scoring contest. Batting first, SRH posted a huge total of 226 for 8 in 20 overs. The innings started aggressively with Travis Head attacking from ball one. Head scored 46 runs off just 21 balls with clean hitting.
Abhishek Sharma supported him brilliantly at the other end. He scored 48 runs off only 21 balls with great intent. SRH reached 84 for 1 in the power play and dominated early. After the power play, KKR bowlers tried to slow things down. However, Heinrich Klaasen kept the momentum going in the middle overs. He played a strong knock and scored a quick half-century. Nitish Kumar Reddy added important runs in the final overs. SRH crossed 200 comfortably and finished with a big total. KKR bowlers struggled to control runs despite taking some wickets.

Batting Collapse of KKR
Chasing 227, KKR started in an aggressive manner. Finn Allen smashed 25 runs in the very first over. The crowd got excited with the fast start. But KKR quickly lost momentum after early wickets. Ajinkya Rahane could not build a steady innings. Cameron Green got out in a poor run-out.
Rinku Singh tried to fight back with attacking shots. He scored 35 runs and showed some resistance. However, he did not get support from other batters. KKR kept losing wickets at regular intervals. The required run rate increased, bringing about continued pressure on the game. The team experienced a complete breakdown while chasing the target.
KKR lost their last seven wickets for just 41 runs. SRH bowlers maintained excellent discipline during all three innings of the match. Nitish Reddy achieved significant success by taking essential wickets during critical junctures of the game. Other bowlers also supported him and maintained pressure.
