IPL 2025 Final Becomes Most-Watched T20 Match in History. According to a report from Jio Star, the official broadcaster and digital partner for Indian Premier League Season 18, the IPL 2025 Final between RCB and PBKS has become the most-viewed T20 cricket match of all time.
In total, a staggering more than 1 billion watched the IPL via the tournament’s television and digital viewership. The total watch time for the tournament was 840 billion minutes across IPL 2025, making it the most consumed Indian Premier League in history.
As a part of the finale, RCB lifted their first trophy in 18 years of IPL cricket, and the final broke all previous records. RCB vs. PBKS final produced 37.1 billion minutes of watch time alone, the highest ever global record for any T20 match.
Historically, in television viewership, the IPL 2025 Final had 169 million viewers, the highest viewership record, surpassing the previous record of the India vs. Pakistan T20 World Cup match in 2021. Digital viewership saw 578 million streams during the final through Jio Star’s digital and online media.
