Joins Elite Company Alongside Vengsarkar
With this score, Rahul joins the great Dilip Vengsarkar, who scored 3 centuries at Lord’s between 1979 and 1986. They are the only Indians who have appeared more than once on the Lord’s Honours Board. Rahul also became the first Indian opener to create a record for two centuries at Lord’s. This is a rare achievement to be ahead of the famous names of Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag in terms of success at Lord’s.
