She crossed 1,000 runs in a calendar year in ODIs. She reached that accomplishment in her match against Australia. This made her the first woman ever to reach 1,000 ODI runs in a calendar year. She leads the all-time list ahead of Belinda Clark’s 970 (1997), Laura Wolvaardt (882, 2022), Debbie Hockley (880, 1997), and Amy Satterthwaite (853 (2016) in women’s ODI cricket.
Her exceptional form has been a key element in India’s World Cup journey. The left-hander has accumulated more than 100 ODI runs in the year 2025 at an average of over 60, including centuries against some of the best sides in Australia and South Africa.
