IPL 2025 Will Resume From May 17: Check Out Full Revised Schedule. Following a temporary halt of the tournament earlier this month, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced a revised schedule of the remaining matches of the TATA IPL 2025. The TATA IPL will resume on May 17, with 17 matches (two double-headers) across six venues.
The tournament had been temporarily put on hold since May 9, on account of heightened geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan. Under mounting national security concerns and logistical challenges, the BCCI had decided to suspend the league after consultation with the central authorities and franchise representatives. Once the situation stabilised, all efforts were made to restart the tournament.
