Slovenia UEFA EURO 2024 Schedule: Full List of Matches, Venues, Time In IST And Squad. Slovenia has been training hard for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany, beating Armenia 2-1, and drawing with Bulgaria 1-1 in friendly matches earlier this month. Head coach Matjaz Kek is supervising the team and making sure that it does wonders in the much-anticipated tournament this summer.

It should be noted that UEFA EURO 2024 is Slovenia’s second European Championship. The team competed in the group stage in EURO 2000, but faced heavy defeat to Spain 1-2. After 2000 it failed to qualify into any of the European Championships. In the EURO 2020 qualifier, Slovenia faced defeat at the hands of Poland, and its tournament dreams were once again destroyed.

This time around, Slovenia is determined with a youthful team and has qualified into Group C of the UEFA EURO 2024 alongside teams like England, Serbia and Denmark.

Kek said the last players to make it into the team were Matevz Vidovsek, Zan Zaletel, Miha Zajc, and Luke Zahovic. He highlighted Slovenia’s tactical plan wherein the team cannot have too much offence-oriented players.
