The opening weekend reached over 515 million viewers across television and digital platforms. This milestone came from the first two matches of the season. Fans showed huge interest from the very beginning of the tournament.

The official broadcaster reported strong engagement across all platforms. Exciting matches played a major role in attracting viewers. Both games featured successful chases of more than 200 runs. These high-scoring matches kept fans engaged till the last ball. The total watch time also reached impressive levels. It recorded around 32.6 billion minutes during the opening games. This marked a 26 per cent increase compared to last season’s start.
