After losing the toss, CSK batted first, and their batsmen produced an outstanding batting display. Sanju Samson led the team by scoring an unbeaten 115 runs from 56 deliveries. He maintained control of the game while executing aggressive batting techniques. Ayush Mhatre supported him well with 59 off 36 balls. Their partnership built a solid foundation for a big total. The Delhi Capitals bowlers found it difficult to maintain control over the scoring pace. Axar Patel took one wicket while he allowed 39 runs to score against him during four overs.
