WTC 2025–27: Updated Points Table After IND vs ENG 4th Test Ends In Draw. The thrilling draw between India and England in the fourth Test at Old Trafford has led to some significant shifts in specific positions in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 points table. The series remains alive at 2-1 in favor of England, and both teams are fighting to offer themselves a prospect of playing for a place in the 2027 WTC Final at Lord’s.

India’s courageous rearguard effort, led by centuries from Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar, meant they drew the match and salvaged a third loss in this series but could not get any desperately needed full points from a win. England drew some points from the draw but lost a little ground in the points table as they incurred a two-point penalty for a slow over-rate at Lord’s earlier on this tour.

India now faces a must-win situation in the fifth Test at The Oval starting July 31 to level the series and improve their WTC standing. A win for England would not only seal the series 3–1 but also boost their push for a spot in the 2027 WTC Final.
