Batting first, Gujarat Giants Women posted 168 for seven in their 20 overs. The Giants started cautiously after losing early wickets. They struggled to score freely during the powerplay overs. Beth Mooney played a crucial innings for Gujarat Giants.
She remained unbeaten on 62 from 53 balls. Her knock included four boundaries and smart strike rotation.
At one stage, Gujarat Giants were 59 for four in the ninth over. Mooney and Georgia Wareham added a vital partnership to stabilize the innings. Wareham chipped in with 21 useful runs. Delhi Capitals bowlers kept things tight in the death overs. They conceded only 42 runs in the last five overs. Their disciplined bowling restricted Gujarat from crossing 180.

Chasing 169, Delhi Capitals Women started aggressively. They raced to 75 without loss inside the powerplay. The openers gave Delhi a perfect platform. Lizelle Lee scored a quick 43 at the top of the order. Shafali Verma added 31 runs with her attacking intent. The duo ensured Delhi stayed ahead of the required rate.
Jemimah Rodrigues then controlled the chase calmly. She scored 41 runs and finished the game in style. Delhi Capitals reached 169 for three in just 15.4 overs. They won the match with 26 balls to spare. It was one of the fastest chases in WPL Eliminator history.
