Women’s World Cup 2025: DY Patil Stadium Replaces Chinnaswamy as Venue. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai has been designated as a replacement for Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium as a venue for the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. This stadium will now host up to five matches (three group matches, one semi-final, and possibly the final on 02 November 2025). Earlier, there were reports that Thiruvananthapuram would be announced as the replacement for Bengaluru.
For the first time, an ICC tournament will be played at DY Patil Stadium. It has become a preferred ground for women’s international cricket and hosts packed crowds of 45,000. The replacement was decided after venue visits and assessment of logistics. ICC and BCCI are satisfied that DY Patil Stadium is an appropriate cricket stage to host the tournament’s major event.
