IPL 2025 Playoffs Confirmed: GT, PBKS, RCB & MI March into Knockouts. Four teams—Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Mumbai Indians have officially qualified for the IPL 2025 playoffs. Each of the four sides has been resilient throughout the season with trending performances so far and is only a few steps away from IPL glory.
MI claimed the last spot after a crushing win of 59 runs against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium on May 21. MI put up a big total, thanks to late-innings fireworks by Suryakumar Yadav and Naman Dhir. Their bowlers then had no trouble dismantling the DC batting line-up to claim a crucial victory, taking their points to 16 and sealing qualification.
Currently, at the top of the table are 18-point holders GT with two matches still to go. Then come RCB and PBKS, who have 17 points each and two matches left. While MI has 16 points, but just a single game remaining. One and two in the final league matches will be decided from which two teams will end up and will carry with them the heart-wrenching advantage of an extra opportunity to reach the grand finale via Qualifier 1.
