IPL 2025 Brand Value Report: RCB Becomes Most Valuable, PBKS Fastest-Growing Franchise. According to the IPL 2025 Valuation Study by Houlihan Lokey, the ten franchises exhibited substantial brand value increases, indicative of the IPL’s ongoing commercial success. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) leads the charts as the most valuable franchise, while Punjab Kings showed the highest year-on-year growth.

RCB is first at $269 million, an 18.5% year-over-year increase from 2024, seizing first over the Mumbai Indians (MI), who are second at $242 million, an 18.6% increase year-over-year.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) maintained their third spot with USD 235 million (+1.7%), showing good stability and continuing fan loyalty. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) increased by 5.1% to USD 227 million and moved up to fourth. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) moved up to fifth with a brand value of USD154 million and a year-on-year growth of 16.7%.

Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) also saw good increases of 16% and 9%, respectively, and Gujarat Titans (GT) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) grew by 14.5% and 39%. Lucknow Super Giants finished the table with USD 122M and a solid +34.1% growth.

Punjab Kings, with a brand value of USD 141 million, reported the 9th brand value but had the highest growth at +39% and was the fastest-growing IPL brand in 2025. The strong 2025 season, stronger presence in the market, and more engagement of fans all helped to boost brand value substantially.

The end-of-year results indicate a wide-ranging uplift in IPL’s brand equity, as we see every franchise with double-digit growth. We are starting to see the convergence of marketing and digital engagement alongside team identity, suggesting that IPL teams are transitioning from cricket teams to global brands.
