It is also the first time an Indian batsman has scored over 500 runs in a series in England while batting primarily in the lower-middle order.

Jadeja has now also tied West Indies great Sir Garfield Sobers for the most 50+ runs scored (5) at No. 6 or below in a Test series in England, after 59 years without being challenged at the top of the list.
