IND vs ENG 5th Test Day 3 Highlights: Jaiswal, Jadeja Power India to Dominant Position at The Oval. After the completion of Day 3 of the fifth and final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at The Oval, Team India tightened their grip on the match by going to Day 4 with a huge 324-run lead. Thanks to Yashasvi Jaiswal’s majestic century and significant contributions from the lower order, India are well-placed heading into Day 4.

Jaiswal was the star of the day, scoring a superb 118—the sixth Test century of his career and the fourth of this series. He partnered with Akash Deep, who shocked England with a resilient 66 in his second Test match. Their partnership of 107 runs for the 3rd wicket set India to a strong total.

Ravindra Jadeja carried on his record-breaking way by scoring a fluid 53. This was his fifth 50+ score of the series, while Washington Sundar smashed a rapid 53 off 46 balls. India was ultimately bowled out for 396, which meant England needed to chase down an unlikely target of 374.

Josh Tongue for England took his second five-wicket haul of the series with 5/125. But India added to the pressure with missed catches and no reviews against the umpire’s errors.
