ICC T20I World Cup 2026: Likely Venues To Host India Matches. The 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be held from 7th February to 8th March 2026 and will be jointly organised by India and Sri Lanka. As per the latest information provided reports, matches involving India may be scheduled at four venues—Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai—with Ahmedabad hosting both the opening match and the World Cup final.

The tournament will kick off with the opening match and final at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, while Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is expected to hold one of the semi-final matches. Eden Gardens in Kolkata has also been earmarked as a venue for the knockout matches due to its deep cricketing history. Some warm-up matches may take place in Bengaluru to give southern fans a taste of World Cup action.

Venue for India vs Pakistan?

Along with the matches to be held in India, Sri Lanka is co-hosting the event, which will see matches in two stadiums in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and one stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka. If India and Pakistan face each other in the series, it will take place in Sri Lanka in an arrangement by the ICC to provide a neutral venue. If Pakistan or Sri Lanka reach the semi-final or final, these arrangements would also move matches to Colombo.
