BCCI Announces India A Squad For England Tour, No Shreyas Iyer, Abhimanyu Easwaran To Lead. Prior to the exciting five-match Test series in England, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced a strong India A tour squad. The A squad consists of a mix of young players and established performers, and in the spirit of strategy. It is clear that the selectors are pursuing and enhancing their red-ball bench strength.
Abhimanyu Easwaran has been appointed India A captain of the squad. Dhruv Jurel as vice-captain and one of the keepers. The selectors have plans to give overseas experience to players who are on the fringe of Test selection.
There is an abundance of pace and spin options in the squad. The pace attack consists of Shardul Thakur, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep, Khaleel Ahmed, Harshit Rana, and Tushar Deshpande. The spinners are Manav Suthar, Tanush Kotian, Harsh Dubey, and Anshul Kamboj.

With Shubman Gill, a leading batter, and Sai Sudharsan, a fitting contributor, flying out to join the team before the second match, he is expected to further balance and add experience to a talented team.
