AUS vs IND 4th T20I Highlights: India Dominate Australia With 48 Runs Win At Gold Coast. India’s cricket team exhibited a comprehensive all-around performance to defeat Australia by 48 runs in the fourth T20I at the Carrara Oval, Gold Coast, on Wednesday. India took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series and went into the final match with confidence.

Batting first, India scored a solid total of 167/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Shubman Gill made a steady contribution with 46, with Abhishek Sharma (28) and Suryakumar Yadav (20) providing excellent support. Shivam Dube included a rapid 22, and Axar Patel added some vital runs down the order late in the innings. Although India lost wickets consistently, the top order ensured that the side put on a competitive and achievable score on a very two-paced ground.

Australia’s Batting Collapse

In response, Australia started well when openers Matthew Short and Mitchell Marsh put together a fast-scoring start before the innings fell apart as a chase. From 67/1, Australia collapsed to 119 all out after just 18.2 overs. Washington Sundar was sensational, picking up three wickets for just three runs in his short spell, while Axar Patel (2/20) and Varun Chakaravarthy (2/25) contributed significantly throughout the innings. The spinners worked brilliantly together to choke the middle order of Australia before Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan finished off beautifully.

Australia’s middle order once again faltered against spin, losing its way after a strong start. Marsh (33) and Tim David (21) were the only ones to make any contributions, as the Indian bowlers proved to be dominant in the second half.
