Apollo Tyres Becomes India’s New Jersey Sponsor in Rs 579 Crore Deal. Indian tire giant Apollo Tyres has been announced as the new jersey sponsor for the Men’s and Women’s cricket teams of India, following on from Dream11. The three-year deal is worth ₹579 crores. The deal spans 121 bilateral matches as well as 21 ICC fixtures in that timeframe. This is one of the largest sponsorships in Indian sports history and reflects the continued commercialization of cricket in India.
Dream 11’s departure creates a path forward
Dream11 was India’s jersey partner until they exited the partnership this year in response to ongoing regulations surrounding online gaming. Once Dream11 exited the agreement, BCCI quickly got to work on a tender for a lucrative jersey agreement. They received a variety of bids from some corporate heavyweights. The winning bid came from Apollo Tyres. They submitted the highest bid and look to have entered the cricket sponsorship space spectacularly.
This partnership includes both teams and formats. Apollo logo will be prominently featured in both men’s and women’s formats and events. The international series will be the first time that the brand’s logo is featured on the jersey, giving them significant exposure ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup and other major events.

A Strategic Victory for All
For Apollo Tyres, the sponsorship is both a marketing initiative and a strategic move to bolster its global brand presence, tapping into the reach that only cricket can provide. For the BCCI sponsors, it is significant revenue for the board and brings stability after Dream11 pulled out. With India on a full international schedule that includes high-profile ICC events, both sides expect the partnership to bring profile and value over the long term. The new Apollo-branded jersey will be unveiled shortly, beginning the next chapter on sponsorship for the Indian cricket team.
