Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women defeated Delhi Capitals Women by six wickets. The grand final was played at the BCA Stadium in front of a packed crowd. Delhi Capitals batted first and made full use of the good conditions. They posted 203 for 4 in 20 overs, the highest total in a WPL final.
Jemimah Rodrigues top-scored with 57 off 37 balls. She played confidently and rotated strike well throughout her innings. Laura Wolvaardt added 44 from 25 balls at the top. Lizelle Lee chipped in with 37 off 30 balls. RCB bowlers found it difficult to stop the flow of runs. Arundhati Reddy took 1 for 40 in four overs. Sayali Satghare finished with 1 for 46. Nadine de Klerk also picked one wicket.
Smriti Mandhana led from front
Chasing 204, RCB needed a strong start in the pressure final. Captain Smriti Mandhana led from the front brilliantly. Mandhana smashed 87 off 41 balls, controlling the chase completely. She struck boundaries regularly and kept the required rate under control. Georgia Voll played a vital supporting role. Voll scored 79 off 54 balls, showing maturity in a big final. Together, they added 165 runs, the highest partnership in a WPL final.
Delhi bowlers struggled to break the partnership. Chinelle Henry was the pick with 2 for 34. Minnu Mani gave away only 19 runs in two overs. Nandani Sharma finished with 1 for 41. Mandhana fell late, but RCB stayed calm. Radha Yadav remained unbeaten on 12 off 5 balls. RCB reached 204 for 4 in 19.4 overs to seal the title.

This win gave RCB its second WPL championship. Delhi Capitals suffered another final defeat despite a strong batting effort. This was the Delhi Capitals’ fourth upset in the WPL Final. The match underlined the rising quality and excitement of women’s franchise cricket.
