President And Full List Of BCCI Officials And Their Salaries. Mithun Manhas, a former cricketer from Delhi, became the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This is a monumental shift in the cricketer’s administration in the country. Reports confirmed that Mitun Manhas has been the unanimous choice to replace Roger Binny, who stepped down due to age restrictions.
As a well-established domestic player, he played 157 first-class matches for Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir, during which he scored more than 9,700 runs, which included 27 centuries. He has not played for his country’s international teams. His familiarity with domestic cricket and his administrative experience confirmed he is a worthy candidate for the top post. This elevation of Mitun Manhas is becoming evident in the increasing respect for former first-class cricketers in high offices at the BCCI.
